I know I could use a modifier but that would be a lot more inconvenient than just running 2 separate macros, I was hoping I could condense them into one with the talent conditional so I could make more room for other macros (I have wayyy too many as druid) However I was able to make it work by doing a workaround with post macro, I exported here: Basically is the same as creating 2 lines I think. The castsequence version is well-known to introduce a delay when casting which basically makes the macro more of a detriment than an improvement. This macro was new to me and it's difficult to test such a fine delay on a single cast - one would need a lot of data to get a real idea of whether a delay is being introduced If you used the question mark icon, WoW will automatically update the icon to the current element of the sequence. If you have other /casts or /uses (or complex conditionals) before the /castsequence, though, WoW will sometimes not be able to figure out which icon to use. In this case, you can specify the icon using #showtooltip as described abov Modifiers perhaps. So they can press the same key, but perhaps holding Alt down while pressing it and it will do something else. Or it could be a cast sequense. I'm trying to create a /castsequence macro that will use Ghostly Strike, then Sinister Strike until GS is completely recharged. I want the macro to reset when I come out of combat or cast Rupture. My main problem is that reset doesn't seem to work at all on either command, and what's more broadcasts the reset command wherever I'm speaking which. The ; conditional in a /use line would work perfectly as an 'else' conditional, but for whatever reason, it doesn't work in the #showtooltip evaluation process. Example: When using this castsequence, #showtooltip will fail and return the question mark icon when it gets to the channeling spell Drain Sou Cast sequence won't work because the syntax will read /castsequence Invoke Xuen , the White Tiger, Touch of Death and since Xuen can't be cast with a partial name, and the game won't recognize The White Tiger, it'll break. Then since both ToD and Xuen are on the GCD you can't have /cast on multiple lines since the macro reads the syntax top to bottom all at once Normally #showtooltip without an item/spell will display whatever the macro will execute. I was wondering if it was possible to write a #showtooltip conditional list, and if none of the conditionals return true, to display the dynamic tooltip that would be there if it was just #showtooltip. As an example this is my travel macro.
